Finding the right fit

The partnership with your academic advisor is extremely important to your success at UofL, as they are your guide in identifying and achieving your academic, personal and professional goals. In addition, we want you to feel confident in the support and advocacy your academic advisor provides, while also ensuring that your advising needs are being met. As a student in the College of Arts & Sciences, you reserve the right to change your advisor, as we want you to establish a good rapport and working relationship with them.

Request to change my advisor form

You may switch to someone you have already established a connection with or you may switch to the advisor who is the liaison for your major department.
Please enter your full name as First Last (e.g., Jane Smith)
Enter your major and concentration exactly as listed in the undergraduate catalog (e.g., Biology (BS) Track in Ecology). Include the degree type (BA or BS) and track if applicable.
