Image upload rules

Please upload your image for display on the SAC digital screens.

Please note that all designs must be Title II compliant.

This includes:

  • Presentation-sized, horizontal image 
  • Meets color contrast standards (check your color contrast) 
  • Sans-serif fonts only (Arial, Helvetica, open sans, etc.), no decorative font typefaces.  Fonts must be easily readable (any questions, please email jessica.combess@louisville.edu).
  • No text with a font size less than 24
  • Color cannot be the only way information is conveyed — pair any color-coded content with a shape, label, or pattern
  • No dense, text-heavy flyers — content must be readable at a glance
  • QR code leading to more information on each slide, 
    • QR code must be positioned at a height accessible to wheelchair users (recommending the bottom half of image)
    • High contrast from BG
    • QR Code must be large enough to scan from a distance (recommended 10:1 ratio — 10 cm wide per 1 meter of scanning distance)
    • Preferred – URL also on the image so viewers know where the QR code is going.  This is due to the inability to do alt text

 

Maximum 3 files.
256 MB limit.
