Student Activities Board
Student Activities Board (SAB) provides social, multicultural, recreational and educational activities for UofL students. SAB is the programming arm of the Student Government Association (SGA) and strives to provide quality, fun, and educational events and programs for the entire student body.

Engage Lead Serve Board
Engage Lead Serve Board (ELSB) strives to enhance the education of students by providing structured experiential and developmental opportunities that encourage community engagement, model good leadership, and allow active service. The board promotes collaboration between organizations and focus areas that encourage philanthropy, service, leadership development, and civic engagement.

Student Organization Advisory Board
The Student Organization Advisory Board (SOAB) fosters a healthy environment for Registered Student Organizations (RSO) by providing workshops, RSO development training, dispersing funding through the Club Programming Committee, reviewing applications for new organizations, and RSO Fairs featuring over 400 organizations.

Leadership Development

First-Year Leadership Development Program
First-Year Leadership Program (FYLP) is a 20-week program that equips 60-80 first-year students with the skills, knowledge, and passion to lead and positively impact campus by driving initiatives, advocating for varying populations, and fostering a strong sense of community. Through immersive community experiences, service projects, and practical training, students are able to develop their leadership potential to create meaningful change.

Cardinal Conclave Leadership Retreat
The Cardinal Conclave is a 3-day, 2-night leadership retreat that offers a unique opportunity for University of Louisville students to deepen their leadership skills, enhance self-awareness, and build a supportive community. It provides an engaging, hands-on learning environment that fosters personal and professional growth, setting our students apart from their peers and positioning them for future success in their academic and leadership endeavors.

Trailblazer Leadership Institute
TLI geared at University of Louisville Students to help them take their Leadership on Campus to another level whether they want to be a better student org officer, coworker, etc. During this program, students will learn about Goal Setting, Clifton Strengths, Conflict Management, Effective Communication, Risk Management, and so much more.

MOSAIC Leadership Experience
This 3-day, 2-night retreat is designed around identity development and emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and the development of meaningful connections and identifying the barriers that prevent us from developing those relationships.

ACC Leadership Symposium
Student leaders from each of the ACC Institutions will have the opportunity to learn through intensive engagement in educational sessions, keynote addresses, topical content exploration, simulations and experiential application. Each Institution allots up to 5 students to participate in this three-day leadership conference aimed at engaging students with peers across the Atlantic Coast Conference. The 2026 ACC Leadership Symposium will take place at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia.

National Society of Leadership & Success
Sophomores and above choose to participate in program activities that help them achieve personal growth, career success, and empowers them to have a positive impact on their communities.

Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society
Rising juniors and above with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA may apply for this prestigious national honor society, which honors and develops leaders through scholarships, workshops, career development, leadership resources, and a lifelong connection to other members.

SOUL: Day of Service is an opportunity for UofL students to come together and serve the city that we call home through meaningful service projects.
Vote for your representatives in the Student Government Association (SGA). These “Top 4” elected officers will serve as the voice of students to the rest of UofL.
The University of Louisville's (UofL) MLK Day of Service event is a community service opportunity that honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event is hosted by the UofL's Engage Lead Serve Board (ELSB).
The International Fashion Show is devoted to celebrating our diverse students through fashion. Hosted by the Student Activities Board (SAB).
The Annual Crawfish Boil is one of the longest-running traditions at UofL. Hosted annually by the Student Activities Board (SAB) in The Red Barn.
The Fryberger Greek Sing showcases chapters from Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils, and each group must put together an original performance.
