Ways to Get Involved

Student Activities Board
The Student Activities Board (SAB) coordinates and plans many of our biggest campus events and activities including Homecoming. These are events planned by students, for students.

Fraternity & Sorority Life
Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) has over 30 chapters of national and international fraternities and sororities to chose from. Including the "Divine Nine," a group of nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities.

Service Learning & Civic Engagement
Service Learning & Civic Engagement (SLCE) offers students a wide variety of ways to get involved. From local service projects that require getting your hands dirty to civic engagement work like registering students to vote.

Student Organization Advisory Board
The Student Organization Advisory Board (SOAB) coordinates and advises the hundreds of student clubs, groups, and organizations that you can find on campus.

Engage Lead Serve Board
Engage Lead Serve Board (ELSB) is a student-led board that connects the university to the local community through service, leadership, and education.

Commuter & Transfer Initiatives
Commuter & Transfer Initiatives (CTI) promotes a sense of belonging among commuter, transfer, and off-campus students. CTI provides assistance to these students to help reduce barriers to education.

Special Programs
The Office of Student Involvement hosts social, multicultural, and recreational events and programs that are designed to enhance the Cardinal Student experience. This includes a number of special programs like Welcome Week!

Student Activities Center
The Swain Student Activities Center (SAC), is the main hub for student life UofL's Belknap campus. The center always has something to do with multiple dining options, amazing event spaces, cozy lounges, and vibrant student activities.
