Caring for the Commonwealth (C4C)

C4C allows students to serve in Louisville and across the state. Throughout the year, students are offered days and weekends focused on service to learn more about what their community needs and how their skills, talents, and passions can make Kentucky a better place to live, study, work, and play.

Alternative Service Breaks (ASB)

ASB provides students a meaningful alternative to regular term breaks. This program takes students across the United States over fall, winter, spring, and summer break and gives them the opportunity to learn more about social issues, contribute to the local economy, and serve the communities they visit.

International Service Learning Programs (ISLP)

International Service Learning Program (ISLP)

ISLP provides a unique experiential learning opportunity for students to take what they are learning in the classroom and apply it to a global context. Students take a UofL course oriented around global issues and travel to the country of focus to serve and learn alongside local partners.

Cards Vote Everywhere

Cards Vote is UofL’s voter participation and civic education hub on campus. Students come to understand not only the importance of voting but also investigate the social issues that matter to them and discover meaningful ways to make their voices heard in their community.
