Campus Events

Spring Garden Gatherings: Held on Mondays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Urban & Public Affairs Garden (426 W. Bloom St., behind Bettie Johnson Hall) and on Thursdays from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the Garden Commons (northeast of the Baptist Center)

UofL’s organic campus gardens are great places to relax, reconnect, learn, and savor the sweet taste of sustainability! Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to experience the thrill of turning tiny seeds into an abundance of hyper-local veggies, herbs, fruit, and flowers. Stop by anytime to sample the goodness and help us keep things watered and weeded. Tools and gloves provided. Sponsored by the UofL Sustainability Council.

Grocery Bingo: Wednesday, April 15 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the SAC Floyd Theater

Grocery Bingo gives participants the chance to win practical prizes like curated grocery bundles and essential hygiene products. Join us for a fun, low-pressure way to connect and leave with items that support your everyday needs. Sponsored by Commuter and Transfer Initiatives.

Good Morning Commuters: Thursday, April 16 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Red Barn

Good Morning Commuters! Free coffee, donuts, and hot chocolate for current UofL students only. Cardinal Cards will be required at the entrance. Please follow us on Instagram @uoflcti to see which campus partner is tabling that morning. Sponsored by the Commuter and Transfer Initiatives.

EcoReps Lunch & Learn: UofL Maple Syrup & Honey Pancake Party: Friday, April 17 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the University Club

All are welcome to join us for our monthly EcoReps workshop featuring locals making a difference in sustainability, a free vegetarian lunch, and our annual celebration of our sweet sustainability harvests on campus. Enjoy pancakes as we sample some of this year's maple syrup and honey harvests. Learn about tapping UofL maple trees to make syrup and raising honeybees on campus. The Sustainability Council’s EcoReps program is designed to move students, faculty, and staff beyond talk to action for a more sustainable UofL. We provide basic training, resources, service opportunities, and leadership positions as a point person and peer-to-peer advocate for sustainability. Sponsored by the UofL Sustainability Council.

Cardinal Calm: Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. at Turf Field

Guided Pilates class with an instructor followed by social cooldown. Students are encouraged to bring a Yoga mat and water bottle. Sponsored by Student Rec and Wellness.

Moment of PEACC: Wednesday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Red Barn Plaza

Join Green Dot, It's On Us, and Campus Wellness for a refreshing "Moment of PEACC" session focused on group fitness, mindfulness, and body movement to help you recharge your mind and body as finals approach. Students need to bring their own exercise mat or a blanket. After the session, feel free to stop by the BRICC office for some breakfast treats to fuel your day.

Late Night Breakfast: Wednesday, April 22 from 8:30 – 10 p.m. in the SAC Marketplace

Mark your calendars - the annual Late Night Breakfast will be on. Grab a free meal served by UofL Administration and relax before finals begin. Sponsored by UofL Dining Services.

Pause 4 Paws: Thursday, April 23 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Ekstrom Library

Finals week is coming and while we can't cancel your exams, we can offer something better than a stress spiral—a serotonin boost courtesy of puppies from the Humane Society. Swing by between study sessions, reset your brain, and leave a little less stressed (and possibly covered in dog hair). No sign-ups. No expectations. Just show up, breathe, and pet a dog. Sponsored by Ekstrom Library.
