About the program

Our team provides the following services:

  • GEN 102 — a course that helps students develop successful strategies and a personalized success plan for moving from negative academic status back into good academic standing
  • Guided recovery plans — one-on-one support to map out the strategies and campus services that can help students return to good standing
  • SAP guidance — help understanding the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy so students can retain their federal financial aid awards
  • Referrals — connections to REACH academic coaching and tutoring, as well as other departments and services across UofL

Who is CARE for?

CARE supports two groups of students: those working to stay in good academic standing, and those working to return to it after academic warning or probation. Whichever situation applies, our team meets you where you are and builds a plan around your specific circumstances.
