Center for Military-Connected Students (CFMCS) Financial Hardship Fund

Through generous support from Canon and the Kentucky Department of of Veterans Affairs, the Center for Military-Connected Students is pleased to have a military-connected student hardship fund. The purpose of the fund is to assist military-connected students who encounter unforeseen financial hardship to stay in school.

  • The funds are not intended to replace or supplement existing financial aid. Receiving funding from the Hardship Fund may negatively impact student financial aid packages.
  • The funds are not intended to be used for routine expenses. Requests must be of a hardship nature.
  • Hardship Funds can only be applied to a student’s University of Louisville student financial account. If applying the funds results in a negative balance, a refund is generated for the student.
  • The number of students who can be served by the fund is subject to the availability of funds.

To apply students must email the fully completed form, including all supporting documentation, to milconstu@louisville.edu. Failure to fully complete the application or provide supporting documentation will result in the application being denied.
