Newsletter Submission

General Posting Guidelines

The student newsletter goes out to all current students each Monday of the academic year. Submissions must be received the Thursday prior to the Monday publication date by 12pm EST.  

1. Only events and activities sponsored by the University of Louisville—its departments, schools, centers, organizations, and recognized student organizations will be accepted. 
2. Announcements must be submitted using the on-line announcement submission form. Incomplete submissions will not be published.
3. The following information will generally NOT be accepted for submission:
   • Business or commercial advertisements
   • Jobs—please post with the University Career Center
   • Messages directed at a limited audience
   • Political campaigning of any kind
   • Personal notices or information
   • Individual lost and found information

We reserve the right to deny, edit, or modify any submission inconsistent with university policies and procedures.

All Submissions

• Announcements will run once. They may be repeated twice after two weeks each time with a new submission each time.
• Keep the title to 50 characters or less and the text to 350 characters or less. 
• It is advisable to include a website for more information or link it to the Event Calendar for more information. 
• Any graphic or photo submission for the newsletter must be in PNG or JPG format. Images with text will not be accepted.
• Links must point to a web page, not an individual document.

Online Learning Student Newsletter

Monthly Email to Online Students

The newsletter goes out to all online students on the 1st of each month. Online students also receive the weekly Student News and Events Newsletter.

Submissions must be in before Noon on the 20th of the previous month to be considered for publication.
