Macy Waddle

Macy is from Mt. Washington, KY. She is majoring in political science, with minors in Spanish, and political marketing. She has been active in numerous leadership roles across campus. She previously served as the SGA academic vice president (2024-2025), student government assistant to the academic vice president (2023-2024), and McConnell Scholar’s Program outreach chair (2023-2024). Macy’s extensive involvement extends to Greek life, where she serves as the Chi Omega Sorority recruitment chair for 2025 and as the 2024 Chi Omega secretary. In addition, she’s a McConnell Scholar, an Honors Scholar, and a mentor with Refuge UL. Macy’s passion for leadership and advocacy is evident in her work with the Engage Lead Serve Board’s Animal Welfare Committee, her role as a Disability Resource Center notetaker, and her volunteer work in the Louisville community as a Backside Learning Center Volunteer, earning her the gold medal of the Presidental Volunteer Service Award last year. Macy currently serves as chair of the Kentucky Board of Student Body Presidents and was the student representative for the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
