SGA SERVICES VICE PRESIDENT GRANT AVIS

Grant is from Hardin County, KY, will serve as SGA services vice-president. Majoring in history and political science with a minor in creative writing, Grant has an impressive record of leadership and service. He has previously served as SGA Senate speaker (2023-2024) and most recently serves as SGA deputy chief of staff. Beyond SGA, Grant has experience as an intern in the office of Rep. Samara Heavrin, Intern, Office of US Senator Mitch McConnell, and as a research assistant at the McConnell Center. He is also an Academic Team Coach for Jefferson County Public Schools and active in both Sigma Phi Epsilon and Phi Alpha Theta. A Henry Vogt Scholar and McConnell Scholar, Grant is committed to the success of UofL.
