MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Cardinals, 

Growing up in Louisville, it was impossible to ignore UofL’s presence within the city. That made my choice to come here a no-brainer. However, the moment I set foot on campus for freshman orientation, I felt an energy unparalleled to anything I’ve felt before. This feeling is exactly why I am elated to serve as your Student Government Association President this year.

 As President, I hope to remind students of how amazing our Cardinal Community is by reaffirming SGA’s commitment to transparency, representation, and campus culture. In simpler terms, I want all students (commuters, first-generation, non-traditional, international, etc.) to feel the love our university has to offer and to enjoy the college experience.  

I am beyond excited to invite the Class of 2030 and all our new students to campus! I hope to see you get involved in whatever way that seems to fit you, because here at UofL, an opportunity awaits at every corner. Your involvement is what keeps UofL’s figurative and literal heart alive and well. 

 I am happy to call UofL home, and I am glad that you call it home too. My time at UofL has been extremely formative to my growth as a student and as an individual, and I cannot help but be thankful for the experiences the University has offered. If you see me on campus, please give me a holler. I love to talk!
