The Martin Luther King Scholars Program is a mentored scholarship opportunity designed to cultivate leadership, encourage academic excellence, promote civic responsibility and support personal and professional growth. Scholars participate in structured programming that develops critical thinking, fosters self-reflection and emphasizes community engagement through hands-on experiences.

Selected scholars enroll in coursework focused on ethical leadership, social change and public service. During their second year, students participate in a transformative travel experience that deepens their understanding of historical and contemporary issues shaping our society.

This mentored scholarship includes full in-state tuition and up to an additional $10,000 per year to supplement educational expenses. Scholars also gain access to exclusive networking opportunities, personalized mentoring and career development resources that prepare them for impactful careers in public service, nonprofit leadership and community advocacy.
