The Etscorn Award seeks exceptional students whose international plans demonstrate:
- Academic Rigor: Proposed programs must be intensive and academically demanding (minimum three weeks)
- Unique Opportunity: Chosen study focuses on experiences beyond what's available at UofL
- Future Ambitions: Intent to pursue prestigious national scholarships (Goldwater, Fulbright, Marshall, Mitchell, Boren, Critical Language Scholarships)
