The DRC works with students with a wide range of documented disabilities. Examples include but are not limited to ADHD, anxiety, autism, chronic health conditions, depression, hearing impairments, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, neurological conditions, physical disabilities, visual impairments, and more. See our Documentation Guidelines for information on what information is needed to determine eligibility.
We are looking for documentation that covers the points in our Documentation Guidelines. Sometimes this information is included in these types of documents, but not always. If you’re unsure, submit what you have and your coordinator will review and let you know whether more information is needed.
Yes. All eligible University of Louisville students may connect with the DRC for accommodations regardless of their program.

The Disability Resource Center does not conduct psychological testing, but can provide referral resources. See the Psychological Testing page for options.

Students request their accommodations in the Student Portal each semester by submitting a Service Request Form.
See our Schedule Exams page for information about scheduling online through the Student Portal. You may also call us at 502-852-6938 or stop by the front desk to schedule exams during business hours. Please remember to schedule all exams at least 3 business days in advance (additional notice required for finals).
