Interested in a membership at the SRC?
Staff, Faculty, and Retirees are able to purchase a new membership at the front office or renew their existing membership online through the Fusion Portal using their UofL SSO login. All Students, Faculty, Staff, and Retirees are able to purchase Plus 1 and Dependent memberships associated with their accounts online.
All other new or renewing memberships must be administered in person during the Student Recreation Center's Front Office Hours Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm, or 11am to 5pm over the summer. We are a cashless facility, and we can accept credit card and checks.
Membership Types
Alumni of the University of Louisville are eligible to purchase a membership to the SRC. Alumni are considered individuals who have obtained a degree or certificate from the University of Louisville.
All new Alumni membership requests are subject to online verification of graduate status. By requesting a membership, you acknowledge that your information may be reviewed and cross-checked with institutional records. Please allow up to 2 business days for this process. A member services staff member will reach out regarding your application approval status. If your Alumni eligibility cannot be verified, your application may be denied. Complete the SRC New Alumni Member Application to get started.
Once Alumni status is confirmed, memberships can be renewed online.
Alumni Memberships are $32 a month.
Campus Affiliate Memberships are available for those who work for the following groups:
- Aramark
- Follett
- FirstBuild
- SSC Cleaning
- Interfaith
This does not include UofL Hospital employees at this time.
Campus Affiliate Memberships are $32 per month.
Anyone living in the same residence as a Student, Faculty, Staff, Retiree, or Alumni Member is eligible to purchase a membership to the Student Recreation Center. Dependent Members receive their own card and can use the facility at any time. Proof of address such as a driver's license or piece of mail is required to create and renew this membership. The documentation provided must be dated within 1 calendar year. The Host Member must be present with the Dependent for a new membership or renewal, and the length of the Dependent's Membership cannot exceed the Host Member's membership length.
Dependent Membership rate is the same as Host Member's rate.
UofL's Dual Credit Program offers qualified, local high school students the opportunity to earn college and high school credit simultaneously before they receive their high school diploma. Students enrolled in the program are eligible for a membership to the Student Recreation Center. Verification of enrollment is required before membership from the Coordinator of the Dual Credit Program. Membership creation can only be completed in the Front Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dual Credit Memberships are $8.25 per credit hour enrolled per Fall or Spring Semester.
Faculty, Staff and Retirees of the University of Louisville are eligible to receive a membership to the Student Recreation Center. These memberships can be started or renewed online or in person via check, card or payroll deduction.
Faculty/Staff/Retiree Memberships are $24 a month.
Any current member of the SRC is eligible to add a "Plus One" to their account. This membership is a generic entry for any person who is with a Host Member at time of entry. Your Plus One guest may be a different person with each entry. This is NOT a stand alone membership and the "Plus One" must remain with the Host at all times.
Plus One rate is the same as Host Member's rate.
Community Sport Club Members are allowed to purchase a membership for all non-competitive clubs. In order to be eligible for a Sport Club membership, your name must be on the active roster from the club. Membership is valid during scheduled club practice times and does not allow access to SRC facilities during non practice times.
Sport Club Memberships are $40 per Fall, Spring, and Summer Semester and can be pro-rated with late enrollment.
Student memberships to the Student Recreation Center are included with their tuition and fees. Student Memberships are $98 per fall and spring semester and $50 per summer semester.
Online Students do not have a recreation fee included in their tuition cost and therefore do not have automatic enrollment to the facility. In order to access the SRC, online students can purchase a semester-long membership in the Front Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) students enrolled in UofL's Dual ULtra Program are eligible for a membership at the SRC. Verification of enrollment from the ULtra Office is required before a membership can be created. The list of eligible students is sent 1 month into the Fall or Spring Semester.
Membership creation can only be completed in the Front Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ULtra Student Memberships are $30 per Fall or Spring Semester.
Non-university personnel visiting the University of Louisville are eligible to purchase a membership to the Student Recreation Center for the duration of their stay. Visiting Staff/Students must provide a letter from their host department stating length of stay at UofL.
Visiting Staff/Student/J1 Scholar Memberships are $24 per month.
