Cardinal Battalion: A Legacy of Leadership
Our Story
Since opening its doors in 1982 with just 31 cadets, the University of Louisville's Army ROTC Cardinal Battalion has grown into one of the region's premier leadership development programs. From our first commissioning ceremony in 1984 to today, we've transformed over 400 students into Army officers and leaders of character. Based in the historic Russell E. Dougherty Hall, we continue to build upon our strong foundation of excellence.
