Meet the Staff

Ashyya Robinson is the Director for TRIO Student Support Services. Before joining the University of Louisville, Ashyya worked five years with TRIO SSS at Berea College, serving first-generation and low-income students in urban communities and distressed Appalachian counties. In addition, Ashyya has a background in case management before her career in TRIO. Ashyya is a two-time graduate of Western Kentucky University, earning both her Bachelor’s (2014) and Master’s (2016) degrees in Social Work. Ashyya is eager to lead and serve the TRIO SSS program at the University of Louisville to sustain its dynamic legacy of supporting students in their academic and personal achievements. In addition, Ashyya is passionate about working with students from marginalized backgrounds and looks forward to her continuation in TRIO.

Christine Williams Foster is a first-generation, non-traditional, two-time Western Kentucky University graduate earning an Associate and Bachelor’s degree.  In addition, she earned her Master’s in Student Personnel in Higher Education at the University of Florida. Christine plans to continue to further her education and obtain her doctorate. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. With prior TRIO experience, Christine is excited to return to TRIO after getting her start in Student Support Services Disability at Western Kentucky University. Christine is overjoyed to be back in Kentucky as she brings much wisdom to the UofL community.
