Posters at the Capitol
Posters at the Capitol - Frankfort, KY
With unique research projects on display, Posters-at-the-Capitol helps to increase understanding of the important role undergraduate research plays in the education of our students among those responsible for higher education funding in Kentucky.
This annual event showcases faculty-mentored scholarly posters by undergraduate students from each state-funded university in the Commonwealth. If you are an undergraduate we urge you to tell your story to your hometown and university legislators so that other Kentucky students can enjoy and benefit from the kind of experience you have had.
This year due to the ongoing construction at the Capitol Building, the 2026 event is currently planned to be held in an Annex Room instead of in the Capitol Rotunda, with a more limited number of posters and participants.
Date: March 5, 2026
Providing undergraduates with the opportunity to engage in scholarly, research, and creative work is important to our students' educational experience and professional development. During the one-day event, students present to their peers and to those responsible for crafting higher education policy in Kentucky.
