The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is offering a 10-week research experience for undergraduates during the Summer. The program is open to UofL undergraduate students from all disciplines.
What is SROP?
The Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) provides University of Louisville undergraduate students an intensive 10-week research experience with a faculty mentor in any discipline (students in the arts and humanities students are particularly encouraged to apply). Students must identify a faculty member who agrees to serve as a research mentor over the summer before applying to the program.
The Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) is designed for the advancement of our goal to involve more undergraduate students in research and creative activities. The SROP program is open to all eligible students regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age.

Why participate in SROP?
Application Process

1Determine Faculty Mentor
Students must identify a faculty member who agrees to serve as a research mentor over the summer before applying to the program.

2Request a Letter of Support
As part of the application process, your faculty mentor will need to provide a letter of support to be considered for the program.
