Honors Student Council (HSC) is an officially recognized student organization (RSO). HSC is the heartbeat of UofL's Honors student community, where student leaders create unforgettable experiences and meaningful connections throughout campus and the surrounding community. Through social events, service projects, and academic initiatives, the council members develop leadership skills while making a real difference. With a track record of raising over $115,000 for local nonprofits in the last fifteen years, HSC offers the perfect blend of community building and civic engagement.

As the largest student organization within the University Honors Program, HSC creates diverse opportunities for engagement and leadership. Our key activities include:
- Planning campus-wide social events and picnics
- Organizing service activities and fundraisers
- Hosting academic lectures and annual fairs

- Providing leadership opportunities for Honors students

- Chair Applications: Opening again in Spring 2026
